We recognise that reaching out for support can feel daunting. Our aim is to make the process of accessing counselling as transparent, supportive and straightforward as possible.
The first step is to complete the referral form most appropriate to your circumstances.

Following receipt of your referral, an assessment appointment will be arranged.
The assessment session provides an opportunity to:
Assessment sessions are charged at £30. This fee applies regardless of whether you subsequently access the Affordable Therapy Scheme or Mid-Priced Therapy Scheme.
Following assessment, we will allocate a counsellor suited to your needs.
Where possible, we will consider factors such as:
Once matched, your counsellor will contact you directly to arrange your first appointment.
Together, you will begin establishing therapeutic goals and developing a counselling relationship based upon trust, collaboration and respect.
We understand that people’s needs evolve over time. Therapy may be short-term or longer-term depending upon your circumstances, goals and the clinical judgement of your practitioner.
Our aim is to provide support that remains responsive to individual needs wherever possible.
